The Uni-USV range has a proven track record across survey, surveillance, environmental and offshore applications worldwide. Recent projects include nearshore pipeline inspection in Netherlands and harbour monitoring in Australia.

A rig entry debris survey in Scotland was completed in under two hours against more than a day by conventional methods. A port survey in Saudi Arabia covered more than 24,000 line kilometres. In 2025 the fleet was recognised with the UK Ports Innovation Award.

UNI—PACT

The Uni-Pact is a remotely controlled catamaran USV developed to deliver efficient bathymetry from an unmanned platform. Its tough moulded polyethylene hull and alloy deck make it exceptionally stable and versatile. Market leading multi-beam/single beam and sub-bottom survey systems integrate closely with ancillary sensors and communication links. The result is a proven platform for surveying in locations where conventional vessels are simply not practical.

Built for Real Surveys
A reconfigurable payload pod and an independent survey PC mean the Uni-Pact adapts to the mission rather than the other way round. Commercial payloads deployed to date span multibeam, sub bottom profiling and pipetracking along with CP inspection and LiDAR.

Shallow and Confined Waters
The Uni-Pact operates where crewed platforms cannot. Its record runs from a 12 km nearshore pipeline survey in extremely shallow Dutch waters to dam surveys in India, where conventional vessels were impractical.

Remote by Design
Line of sight radio, an H16 controller and Starlink or 4G connectivity enable true remote operations. A full rig entry debris survey in Scotland was piloted from Denmark and completed in under two hours.

Compact. Electric. Award Winning.

The Uni-Mini is a compact and lightweight USV for shallow water survey. It enables full hydrographic operations from land with minimal manpower and low risk. At 1.675 m and just 65 kg with a carbon fibre hull, the vessel is transportable by two people and fully electric. It integrates your choice of transducer and GPS system and won the UK Ports Innovation Award in 2025.

Two Person Deployable
No slipway, no crane and no support vessel. The Uni-Mini launches by hand from shore or from a mothership. It has proven itself in constrained environments from live marinas in Australia to oyster habitat restoration sites in Scotland.

Precision Where It Counts
Deployed on hydrographic multibeam work in Australia, the Uni-Mini achieved autonomous accuracy within 30 cm. This eliminated rework and proved its effectiveness in areas that conventional vessels cannot reach.

Lookout+ is an advanced, vision-based AI platform developed specifically for maritime applications. Its key focus is detecting and classifying marine mammals in real time, for both crewed and uncrewed vessels to avoid potentially harmful interactions.


In collaboration with Greenroom Robotics and Plymouth Marine Laboratory, The USV Group’s initiative brings this innovation to Smart Sound for UK trials targeting resident Dolphin and Porpoise populations in Plymouth Sound. These trials are part of a broader initiative to reduce the risk of vessel strikes and provide vital data in sensitive marine environments for pre-consent surveys and site monitoring programs.
